DESCRIPTION:
T05 Coating is a metal oxide, aluminum powder mixture designed to polish out to a titanium. This coating has exceptional coverage and is easy to apply. It provides the Aerospace, Automotive, and Marine Industries with materials to protect components from high temperature, oxidation, salt laden atmospheres, and chemicals and abrasives and provides sacrificial anodic protection. TYPICAL USES:
T05 is a Thermal barrier coating for automotive engine and exhaust components that need a high heat barrier. It is used primarily for coating exhaust parts because of its heat retention and its unique gun metal gray look. It can also be used as a piston crown coating, in the combustion chamber, and the intake/exhaust ports. This is the perfect coating for racing applications. It is an excellent heat shield and thermal barrier.
