DESCRIPTION:
BTC Coating is a metal oxide, aluminum powder mixture pigmented black to go over our R05 basecoat. This coating has exceptional coverage and is easy to apply. It provides the Aerospace, Automotive, and Marine Industries with materials to protect components from high temperature, oxidation, salt laden atmospheres, and chemicals and abrasives and provides sacrificial anodic protection.
TYPICAL USES:BTC is a Thermal barrier coating for automotive engine and exhaust components. It is used primarily for coating exhaust parts because of its heat retention and its blacked out appearance. It can also be used on motorcycle and ATV parts, turbo components, and high heat exhaust parts. For industrial use this coating is an excellent thermal barrier, has superior corrosion protection, and great abrasion resistance.
