Plasma Coating

Rukse Plasma is a wire-arc plasma spray that is formulated for very high temperatures. This rugged coating protects substrates up to 2450°F, heat levels encountered in certain racing and Off-road applications. This coating protects against thermal fatigue, rust, corrosion, oxidation, and metal fatigue on components in the harshest conditions. By preventing these damaging elements you increase the life of your parts many times over. This coating is highly recommended for exhaust components seeing high amounts of heat like turbo housings and turbo manifolds.

Although it can withstand higher temperatures than the Rukse Black Cermet and Rukse High Temp, it's not as good of an insulator at lower temperatures. For example, if your exhaust gas temps are running at 1300°F, the Rukse Black or Rukse High Temp cermet will reduce the skin temperatures on your pipes more than the Rukse Plasma Spray. Some turbo and racing applications see exhaust temps over the 1600°F which is the limit of Rukse Black Cermet, making Rukse Plasma or Rukse High Temp the better choice for those applications. This coating has a semi-rough texture, and is available with Black, Bright Silver, and Titanium top coats.

Recommended Applications:

Rukse plasma coating can be used on all Rukse Polished/Rukse Bright Silver/Rukse Black/Rukse High Temp applications, as well as:
Turbine Housings (Highly recommended)
Turbo Headers/manifolds (Highly recommended)
Supercharged engine exhaust (Highly recommended)
Any exhaust application where extreme heat is being seen: (Off-road racing, turbo applications, extreme racing)
