RUKse Fuel Tabs Real-world Testing
(Contributed by an actual user)
Following is a usage test I did on RUKse Fuel Tabs. I have to admit I was skeptical but in the end the RUKse Fuel Tabs did work for me. I did the tests on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler and 2007 Nissan Versa. I use both cars for mostly commuter duty. I travel about 60-80 miles each day to work with most of it the miles on the freeway. I did not change my driving habits or use any other gas savings techniques for this test.
Jeep Wrangler 2007 JK Sahara Model
Mileage when test started: 49,645
EPA Numbers: 18 MPG Combined 16.9 MPG as commonly tested
Tank Capacity: 21.6
I did a total of 10 fuel fill-ups, five with RUKse Fuel Tabs and five with no additive. Normally the vehicle is tested at 16.9 miles per gallon. With 85 octane fuel I was seeing an average of 17.58 miles per gallon. With RUKse Fuel Tabs I saw an average of 19.25 miles per gallon. Below are the totals of the test results with using Fuel Tabs and without using any additive. The cost of a 10 pack of Fuel Tabs was $7.95 and I used two tabs per fill up. The dosing instructions required 1 Fuel Tab for every 16 gallons of fuel for best performance. After adding the pills I noticed a little more power, I was told that the first treatment might actually lower my gas mileage as it cleans out my system but I did not see that. Below are the results of the test.
Mileage and Fuel Economy improvements with RUKse Fuel Tabs:
Average Miles Traveled per Tank: 375.40
Average Miles per Gallon: 19.25
Average MPG over 16.9MPG 12%
Average Miles over 16.9MPG 2.35
Total Savings Including Fuel Tabs Cost $25.29
Baseline mileage and fuel economy without using RUKse Fuel Tabs:
Average Miles Traveled per Tank: 326.48
Average Miles per Gallon: 17.58
Average MPG lost from 19.25MPG -10%
Average Miles over 16.9MPG .68
Total Savings Lost by Not Using Fuel Tabs $25.29
From the test results you can see that I averaged about 49 more miles per fill up that is about 2 more gallons per tank or $5.40 dollars saved per fill up. That is a nice savings. I averaged about 1.67 more miles per gallon using Fuel Tabs. I got 2.35 more miles per gallon over the average tested mpg of 16.9 and finally I saved a total of $25.29 using Fuel Tabs including what I paid for the use of the Fuel Tabs. That reduces my monthly fuel bill by almost 10%. In addition I am told I getting a cleaning running engine which helps lower emissions, more power, and longer lasting parts. I cannot test that so I am not sure if that works. This would give me an annual savings of $300.00 or more.
Overall I believe that this has worked to increase my fuel mileage. I will continue to run more tests and update this report as they become available.
